Split Casing Pumps
A Horizontal Split Casing Pump is a specialized type of horizontal pump with its casing divided into two distinct chambers, unlike end suction pumps where the suction nozzle, discharge nozzle, and casing are combined in a single chamber.
In split casing pumps, the suction and discharge nozzles are positioned side by side on the bottom half of the casing, while the impeller shaft is supported by bearings on both sides. This design ensures easy maintenance, high efficiency, and robust performance for demanding applications.

- Suction and discharge have integrally cast centerline supports. Top suction and discharge connection are located in the same plane. Piping stressers are thereby transmitted directly to the baseplate, avoiding possible casing distortion.
- Enclosed impellers with extra long hubs are completely interchangeable. They are dynamically balanced and independently positioned on the shaft.
- Separate extra deep stuffing boxes, subject to suction pressure only. Water jackets and mechanical seals are available.
